Quick Summary of Today's Proceedings (Before Lunch)

(Based on live observations, not official orders)

1. The court expressed concern over discrepancies in the timeline of case related details ( Call Recieved, Visit , Reason of death , Post Mortem , Registration of FIR etc) in the General Diary (GD) and Case Diary (CD).

2. Advocate Kapil Sibal requested that all protests and marches should be notified to the police well in advance, with specific details about routes and timings. He expressed concerns that if a flag is removed from its stick, it could be used as a weapon to incite violence, and mentioned that collateral incidents have occurred due to similar situations.

3. It was highlighted that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) had not yet been deployed at the site as of this morning. There was also a request to extend the security perimeter from the hospital to the hostel. In response, it was stated that "requested visits have been made by officials of the CISF and West Bengal Police."

Supreme Court debunks the "151 mg semen" theory in the Kolkata RG Kar Hospital rape and murder case.

"Don't use social media arguments in court" CJI raps lawyer who said that 151 mg of semen was found in the victim's body. "We have the post mortem report before us. We know what the 151 mg refers to" says CJI.

4. Court proceedings have been paused and will resume after lunch.
